Pen and paper are really having a moment! No more digital stuff, turn back the clock to hand cramps and strained wrists! My most exciting conversations these days are about how / why / what people are doing with their journals. For years, I’ve been using the Day One app to track my day-to-day events, but my online diary habit died long ago—along with my constant blogging. However, now armed with a binful of unused notepads and a finalized collection of pens, I’m ready to enter the world of physical journaling! The first problem that hit me was: what is a journal even? There was a lot of confusion for me about the various terminology.
